The Leningrad District Court of Kaliningrad imposed on a lawyer Maria Bonzler in the case of cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state, an international or foreign organization (Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by Telegram channel of the Kaliningrad Regional Court.

At the request of the investigator, the court considered the request for an arrest in closed mode, writes Sotavision. The investigator claimed that there are materials that are not subject to disclosure in the case. At the same time, the defense insisted that there was no GOSTain in the case.

According to the regional administration of the Investigative Committee, Bonzler has already been charged.

“According to investigators, in 2024, the lawyer transferred the special services of the unfriendly state information about the employees of the power bloc of the region, which became known to her due to advocacy,” the REC of the UK said.

The department also reported that "searches were conducted in the home of the accused and a number of lawyers aware of criminal activity."

Yesterday in Kaliningrad, the security forces immediately came to three lawyers - Bonzler, Roman Morozov and Ekaterina Selizarova. All of them defended Igor Baryshnikov , convicted due to anti-war posts.

Formally, Morozov examined the premises. The decision of the judge who allowed the inspection said that Morozov was the “partner” of lawyer Bonzler. It was also written in the document that with respect to the Bonzler “there is a suspicion” in the Stateizer.

Morozov examined several FSB officers. At the same time, a representative of the lawyer chamber was present. As a result, the security forces seized the phone and hard drives from the home computer of a lawyer.

According to Morozov, after the inspection, the investigator asked him about involvement in the activities of the Memorial.

  • Since the beginning of the war, Bonzler, Morozov and Selizarov defended the Kaliningraders who participated in protests. They were also the lawyers of Igor Baryshnikov, who was sentenced to seven and a half years in the colony of general regime in the case of “fakes” about the Russian army on the motive of political hatred (paragraph “d” of part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). Bonzler represented his interests in cooperation with the OVD-Info.

Attacked 16 regions of Ukraine. For what? Russia has already been forbidden to use the 51st article of the UN Charter. It is not clear what they achieve. ”
  • In 1995, Bonzler founded and headed the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers of the Kaliningrad Region. The organization was engaged in the protection of the rights of conscripts, military personnel and their parents. In 2017, Bonltser received the status of a lawyer, and six years later she became a laureate of the Prize of the Moscow Helsinsky Group for upholding human rights in court.
