In the Bryansk and Kursk regions, bridges collapsed, there are dead

At least 7 people were killed and more than 70 were injured, when late in the evening of May 31 in the area of Vygonichi village in the Bryansk region a road bridge fell upon a passenger train under it. 44 people were hospitalized, three victims are in serious condition, among them a four -month -old child.

In total, 388 passengers rode in the train damaged during the collapse of the bridge, the governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz said. The train followed the route Klimov - Moscow. Among the dead is the train driver and members of the train brigade.

Another bridge fell on the night of June 1 in the Kursk region of Russia. This happened in the Zheleznogorsk district on the 48th kilometer of the Trosna-Kalinovka highway, said the acting governor of the region Alexander Hinshtein. Part of the commodity train passed at this moment collapsed down onto the road, which is located under the railway bridge. The driver of the locomotive and two of his assistants were taken to the hospital.

Criminal cases of the collapse of bridges in the Bryansk and Kursk regions will investigate the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee. During the day, a message about this was adjusted. Initially, in the post, published by the UK in his official channel in Telegram, it was a question of the "tears" of both bridges. The new version refers to the "collapse of structures", their reason is not mentioned in the corrected version.

Around noon on June 1, Russian telegram channels reported that at about 11 a.m. there was a blowing of the railway track on the UNECH-ZHECHSAGE in the Bryansk region. The press service of the Moscow Railway later reported the "damage to the tracks" discovered there. Its reasons for the Ministry of Economic Council are not mentioned. There is no data on the victims either.

The second, third and fourth of June in the Bryansk region are declared days of mourning for the dead.

In connection with the events in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova accused the Ukrainian side of "gloating" and "hellish joy". "The reaction in Ukraine is still striking, which, in my opinion, gives out the very soreness, the overcoming of which is one of the goals of his own." - said Zakharova, not giving examples of such gloating. In official Russian messages, the involvement of Ukraine in the collapse of bridges in Russia on the night of June 1 is not mentioned.
