The XVI International Aviation and Space Salon (Max) will not be held in 2025, the event is transferred to 2026.
According to Interfax, this was announced by Sergey Chemezov - the head of one of the organizers of the salon, Rostec Corporation. "Max will not be this year. It is transferred to the next year. You yourself understand what time is now," Chemezov said.
The abolition of Max this year was previously reported by two sources of Interfax in the air traffic. The decision is primarily connected with security considerations, one of them noted. In addition, the flagship projects of the civil aviation industry, such as MS-21 and SJ-100, are "expected only in 2026." Instead of a full-fledged air show in Zhukovsky, the organizers offer the EMAKS online project: the exhibition and demonstration programs will be presented on the website of the air show.
In recent months, the work of the airport in Zhukovsky, like many other airports throughout Russia, has repeatedly interrupted because of the attacks of the veilists.
