The events of the past weekend significantly complemented the alarming expectations of the second meeting of the delegations of Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul, scheduled for June 2.
In the late evening on Saturday, the Klimov -Moscow train on the territory of the Vygonichsky district of the Bryansk region crashed into a car bridge that collapsed a few minutes earlier. Seven people died, including the Lokomotiv brigade, about 100 passengers suffered and turned for medical help, 388 people were in the train.
At the third hour of the night, several explosions of the railway clip occurred during the movement of a cargo locomotive over the road route in the Zheleznogorsk district of the Kursk region, there were no casualties. And at about 11 hours on June 1, in the same Bryansk region, during the movement of the traveling train, the railway tracks were undermined on the distances of UNECHA - DOCHECH.
The society did not have time to recover from railway disasters, the largest attack in Russian history on Sunday during Sunday on the airfields of strategic aviation in the Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions. In the Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions, the attacks were reflected, and in the Irkutsk and Murmansk regions as a result of the launch of FPV-thrones from trucks that were in the immediate vicinity of airfields, aircraft capable of carrying nuclear weapons were amazed. Rocket carriers of this type in Russia are no longer produced, losses are irreparable. Ukraine officially announced one and a half year preparation of attacks in Russia.
Against this background on June 2, negotiations between the delegations of Russia and Ukraine on the conditions for the completion of military operations will continue in Istanbul. During the telephone conversation of Trump and Putin on May 26, the idea of signing the Russian-Ukrainian memorandum on the principles of settlement arose. Russia prepared its project, but refused to publish it and transfer the Ukrainian delegation only in Istanbul, but Ukraine has published its project through the Reuters agency, which cannot suggest the consent of the parties on the vast majority of points.
The Russian delegation was again headed by Vladimir Putin's assistant Vladimir Medinsky, Ukrainian - Minister of Defense Rustem Umarov. It should be noted that Medinsky was born in the city of Smela Cherkasy region of Ukraine. Umarov is an ethnic Crimean Tatar and a Muslim Sunni, whose family in May 1944 was deported from Crimea to Central Asia, was born in the city of Bulungur of the Samarkand region of the Uzbek SSR. Only in the early 1990s, during the repatriation of the Crimean Tatars, the Umarov family was able to return to Alushta, Umarov then studied at elementary school.
The results of the negotiations will be known by evening. No one expects a breakthrough, but there are hopes for continuing the exchange of prisoners and, possibly, other humanitarian steps. It is difficult to assume that from this round of negotiations the personal meeting of Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin, which Ukraine requires, but the intermediary shadow of Trump will not allow Russia or Ukraine to declare the refusal of negotiations.
