The Novooskolsky District Court of the Belgorod Region sentenced the local resident Denis Zotkin to six years in prison due to gunpowder, which the man found near the house. The verdict was published on the court’s website, Pepel paid attention to him.
Zotkin was found guilty of illegal storage of explosives (part 1 of article 222 of the Criminal Code). The verdict in his case was announced on March 22. A man will serve his punishment in a maximum security colony - when pronouncing the sentence, the court took into account the previous criminal record of a resident of the Belgorod region for an attack on the security forces.
According to the court order, on January 20, Zotkin found 6.3 kilograms of gunpowder-he was packaged on bags with various markings, for example, the inscription “The main B80 152-2A36; 152-2C5 10/7 30/88A; 49-88-a ". As Pepel notes, such markings are used in the army for artillery guns-in particular, for Hyacint-B, Giacinta-S and Acacia. The project suggests that Russian soldiers left gunpowder.
The powder found by Zotkin transferred to the barn. A few days later, the man went to the police to celebrate in connection with the previous criminal record, the security forces decided to examine his house. Then a resident of the Belgorod region spoke about the powder found, and the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened the case. After that, the man was sent to the pre -trial detention center, the materials against him entered the court in early March. Zotkin pleaded guilty and repented of his deed. In addition to the real term, he was also assigned a fine of 10 thousand rubles as a punishment.
