The Russian Publishing House "Belaya Corvus" (Albus Corvus) announced that he was temporarily withdrawing from the sale of four books of the Swedish writer Sven Nurdvista. This is stated in the telegram channel of the publishing house.

We are talking about the books “Hunting for the Fox”, “Petson goes on a campaign”, “Petson is sad” and “Cooking with Petson and Finduus”.

The publishing house made such a decision due to the fact that on May 30, the Ministry of Justice of Russia declared the “foreign agent” of the translator of these books, human rights activist Alexander Polivanov. The translations were made more than 20 years ago, “when the stories about Petson and Findus just appeared in Russia, in many ways, thanks to them, the books of readers in our country won the books,” the publishing house notes.

“Now we were forced to temporarily withdraw these books from sale. According to the law, the translator of the book is equal to the author. And now we need to perform a number of necessary actions, the same law provided for: change the marking of children's books by 18+, add stickers with a well -known dick to the cover and other formal requirements. As soon as we do such a job, the books will again appear on sale. But, as you already understood, there will be nuances. Other books from the series are available, they can be purchased right now. The history of the publishing house began with books about Petson and Findus. We love them ourselves and know how you love them. We hope for understanding and support, ”the post says.
