Office of the President of Ukraine: Trump and Zelensky can meet in Canada during the G7 summit

Kyiv counts on a meeting of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky with US President Donald Trump in the fields of the G7 summit in Canada. This was announced on the air of the National Telemerathon by the head of the presidential office Andrei Ermak.

According to Yermak, in the USA, from June 3 to 5, a delegation was located under the leadership of the first deputy prime minister Yulia Sviridenko, and its tasks, including, included the preparation of the meeting.

“Our visit was the preparation, including K, I think, a meeting between the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and President Trump in the fields of the G7 summit in Canada, which will take place in 10 days. This was one of the important steps in preparing this conversation, ”said Yermak.

In the United States, they have not officially confirmed that the meeting would take place.

• Trump and Zelensky in 2025 met twice. Their first meeting in the White House on February 28 ended with a skirmish, after which Trump temporarily suspended military assistance to Ukraine. The second meeting took place on April 26 in the Vatican at the funeral of Pope Francis. On it, as the media wrote, Zelensky managed to convince Trump to take a more stringent position in relation to Russia.
• The Great Seven summit will be held in the Canadian province of Albert from June 15 to 17.
