The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg arrested the editor of the Sverdlovsk branch of the URA.RU Providing publication Denis Alloyarov in the case of giving a bribe (part 3 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code), Mediazona reports.
At the request of the investigator, the court was closed. The defense advocated an open court hearing.
Earlier on June 6, the court sent under house arrest in the case of receiving a bribe (part 3 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code) of the head of the criminal investigation department of OP No. 10 for Yekaterinburg Andrei Karpov. He is Uncle Alloyarova.
The URA.RU said that Allayarov became a victim of a reservation from his uncle, and the searches that took place in the editorial office were called a “provocation”. “We believe that Allayarov became a victim of a reservation from his uncle, who thus wants to facilitate his fate on another charges, and law enforcement agencies took advantage of this,” the editorial statement said. Karpova, as stated earlier, was detained in another case.
Allayarov, according to URA.RU, does not plead guilty and denies the fact of a bribe.
