The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked the office of Boeing in Kyiv

The Russian military struck the office of the American aerospace company Boeing in Kiev on the night of June 10, the British newspaper Financial Times said on June 15, referring to the words of six sources and photographs that the State Emergency Service (State Emergency Situations) of Ukraine previously published. The newspaper noted that serious damage to the building and rescuers who extinguish the fire are visible in the pictures of the State Emergencies Ministry.

The Boeing office is located at Glubochitskaya Street, house 4 is the Shevchenkovsky district of Kyiv. Two Boeing employees, three Ukrainian officials and president of the American Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine Andy Hander told FT that the Russian blow was “clearly” against the American company, and its office became one of the goals of the attack.

Despite the fact that the building was damaged, no failures occurred in the company, Andrei Koryagin, Deputy General Director of Boeing in Ukraine, told the publication.

The official representative of Boeing refused to comment on the attack, but noted that the company pays the priority attention of the security of employees and not one of them was injured during a Russian strike. The representative of the company, as the newspaper writes, praised the "stamina of personnel working in difficult and dangerous conditions."

Boeing is one of the most famous American companies represented in Ukraine. The local unit is engaged in engineering and technical support. The company hired more than a thousand employees in Ukraine and in early June published new vacancies.

Boeing collaborates with the Ukrainian aircraft company Antonov, in 2024 they signed a memorandum of understanding in order to study the possibilities of cooperation in defense projects. At the beginning of 2025, Boeing leaders met with their colleagues from Antonov and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umrov to discuss new joint projects.

I look at what is happening in Russia, at news, at the adopted laws - and ask me the question: who are these people? Why do they behave like that? Where did they come from?
