The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klimenko, accused Russia of transferring the bodies of his own dead military under the guise of Ukrainian soldiers of transferring to Kyiv. He published the documents of one of the dead Russians, whose body, as he claims, was transferred to Ukraine as part of an exchange.
The published documents were issued in the name of Alexander Bugaev. Klimenko showed photographs of a military ID, token and extracts from the order of the commander of the military unit, found, according to him, on the body of the deceased. Also, the minister said, a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation and the coupon certificate of a soldier were discovered (he did not show their photos).
According to Klimenko, it was possible to establish that the relatives of the deceased "began his search at the end of March after the disappearance in the Novomikhailovka area in the Donetsk region."
This is another evidence of how Russia is neglecting its people, throwing their bodies to the bodies of the Ukrainian military. This is evidence of how small human life is for Russia. Or is it just a way to avoid payments to their families. But you still have to pay: we are returning these bodies.
There are no independent evidence that would confirm the authenticity of the documents found. The Russian side did not comment on the publication of the documents of the deceased military.
On June 16, Klimenko stated that Russia handed over to Ukraine, including its own dead soldiers. Then he did not give specific names and did not show documents-the minister only stated that all the returned bodies in Ukraine were examined by investigators and experts, and DNA expertise is carried out to confirm the individuals of the dead. Klimenko claimed that Moscow deliberately mixes the remains, or to “increase the number of transmitted bodies and load our experts with the work of our experts, supplementing all this with cynical information pressure”, or because of “his usual careless attitude to their own people.”
That statement Klimenko on June 19 was commented by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova. According to her approval, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “could not answer his own journalists how he [the presence of the bodies of Russians among the dead] defined” and called the accusations from his “Abrakadabra” and “devilish muttering”.
The exchange of bodies of the dead military was agreed during the second round of direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, which took place in Istanbul on June 2. He took place in several stages for several days, on June 16, the parties officially confirmed its completion.
Ukraine, according to its own application, as part of exchanges received 6057 bodies from Russia (the Russian side said that there were 6060). In exchange, Moscow received 78 bodies of the dead from Kyiv. In Ukraine, they did not comment on what is connected with such a big difference in the number of transmitted bodies and why Kyiv did not transfer any more dead.
Stasya. I feel fatigue. I feel as if only a black hole in front. I can’t do anything practically. At the beginning of the war, I glued leaflets, engaged in campaigning, but now I can barely force myself to budge. Work on inertia, life on inertia. A sense of uselessness and helplessness suppresses even more. A vicious circle.
I love a girl from Ukraine. She is now there, and I stayed in Russia with my parents, then it seemed so safer. We have different citizenship. This year we have a thirteen -year anniversary. I love her and I know that she loves me, we write each other every day, support each other, smile and hope for the best. But inside I finally froze this faith in the best and no longer guesses signs of life. We will not be more together in Russia, none of us will be happy here. But can I ever come to her now? Is there any future for us? I can see you again once again?
Every day I am afraid that one day she will hate me. I understand that when worlds collapse around, it is stupid to cry about my kindergarten on the balcony, but what remains for me.
