From July 1, Russia will take place in Russia to increase the fees for housing and communal services. This is provided for by the order of the government, approved in November 2024, writes the Guarantor.ru website.
According to the order, the increase in the cost of housing and communal services will be from 8.6% to 21.1%, depending on the region. For example, for Moscow and St. Petersburg, an indexation is provided by 15%, for the Moscow Region - by 13%. At the same time, local authorities make the final decision on the level of indexation. As a general rule, they are limited by the framework that the government (deviation) has established for them, but in some cases these frames are not used.
In this regard, in some municipalities, housing and communal services are rise in price more significantly than in others. So, in Izhevsk, the increase will be 38%(although in most municipalities of Udmurtia only 15%), in Omsk - 39.6%.
On average, the housing and communal services tariffs throughout Russia will grow by 11.9%this year. In 2024, they were increased by 9.8%, in 2023-by 8.1%, writes RBC. The Ministry of Construction explained that the indexation is carried out "taking into account changes in the cost of resources and technological renewal of communal facilities."
