The government officially instructed the VK to develop the Unified State Messor Max “For everything” - similar to Chinese WeChat

The operator of the National Information Exchange Service selected a subsidiary of the VK Communication Platform holding, the Cabinet said in a statement. She will be responsible for ensuring the work and the development of the messenger.

“Max provides safe communication in the messenger and access to convenient digital services from the state and business. The entire infrastructure of the platform is located on the territory of Russia, which guarantees reliable storage of data and user protection, ”the Minzifra statement said .

According to the Minzifra, about 2 million Russians allegedly already use the Max.

MAX messenger is declared as a Russian analogue of Chinese WeChat - applications “for everything”, which combined the platform for communication, and the search engine, and the payment system.

It is planned to introduce Max:

• digital ID - will confirm the identity in household situations without a paper document (for example, in the store when buying alcohol);

• Goskluch - for signing documents using an electronic signature;

• Educational services.

Already available: sending files weighing up to 4 GB, audio and video calls, group chats, money transfers, AISSTOR from the Sberbank Gigachat 2.0.

Critics of the current version of MAX say that after installing on a smartphone, the application requires access to the privilege of the gadget user, and receives these data MAX in a current way, but through the device code. Information requires additional research, since any application of the Messenger type permission to access private data is requested one way or another .

Max also offers a subscription to the channels of the media and popular bloggers - and some of them did not start their channel officially and found out a post -fact about it.
