Voronezh Minister of Tourism received money from contractors who promised the service in kitchens - but they fell into attack aircraft

On July 8, the Governor of the Voronezh Region fired the Minister of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of the Voronezh Region Gennady Shvyrkov with the wording of "one of his own free will." The next day, the ex-minister was detained, and on the same day, July 9, a preventive measure was elected to him in the Central District Court of Voronezh-until August 9, the Shvyrs would be in jail.

The ex-official was suspected of particularly large fraud: he became a defendant in the criminal case under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code, this article provides for up to 10 years in prison.

On July 10, in the framework of the same case, Artyom of the Great Great and Sergey Bendin, the heads of the Streletsky and Latnensky rural settlements of the Semiluksky district, who until recently, headed Shvyrkov, were detained.

The case was initiated by the regional FSB.

One of the state of the region so elegantly formulated the scheme for the production of officials: “One -time payments were not in full. The main part of the money was allegedly left to himself. Meanwhile, many of the servicemen died at the front. ”

The incident is a serious blow to the head of the region Alexander Gusev, whose creature Shvirkov was many years. Since the time of the Voronezh mayor (in 2013-2017), the governor took care of his old acquaintance-at first he set him the head of the Leninsky district of the city, from where he later fired. Then he attached it to the head of the administration of the Semiluksky district, and in August 2024, Shvrkov moved to the chair of the regional minister of tourism.

The current mayor of Voronezh, Sergei Petrin, is now too hard. On July 1, the security forces detained the head of the Construction Policy Department of the City Hall of Voronezh Yevgeny Shishkin, a friend of the mayor, and the director of the municipal institution “Directorate of the Unified Capital Construction Customer” Alexander Kim. They became defendants in the case, excited by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs under Part 4 of Art. 159 (fraud committed by an organized group or on an especially large scale).

According to investigators, during the reconstruction of the Voronezh embankment, unexpected changes were made to the project - an amphitheater, which was supposed to be a small architectural form, in fact turned out to be a monolithic structure. As investigators calculated, the cost of its manufacture was 7.4 million. But she paid for her the city hall according to the estimate-45 million. That is, more than 37 million rubles simply disappeared. The investigation is now finding out where exactly.
