The administration of Mytishch refused to agree on the picket of defenders of the park, a moose island. The applicants published the answer of officials in the group “Motiyshchi” on VKontakte.
The reason for the refusal was “coronavirus” restrictions introduced in 2020 by the Governor of the Moscow Region and prohibiting public events in the region .
The picket was planned to be held on July 20 at the Yauz Palace of Culture.
- Defenders of the moose island protest against the construction of the road through the park. At the site of the construction, they carried out folk gatherings: for example, they tried to bury the road, “since you can carry out work without permission,” they arranged a picnic and played badminton. On July 7, there was a fight between the private security company guarding the contractor and activists trying to stop construction equipment.
