The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the destruction of at least 100 Ukrainian drones in the territory of nine regions on the night and morning of July 20.
Most drones were shot down in the Bryansk region (41) and over the territory of Moscow and the Moscow Region (19), the military department specified.
In Zelenograd, which is part of Moscow, the fragments of the drone hit a residential building, local residents said. There are no victims, according to the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. In the 20th microdistrict of the city, several cars lit up due to the fallen parts of the drone.
Also, due to the night attack of Ukrainian drones, the airports of Moscow, Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod interrupted their work. “During the period of past restrictions (July 19-20), 134 aircraft went to the spare airfields,” the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency summed up .
