Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka City Court sent a 67-year-old citizen of Ukraine Valery Dobrovolsky under house arrest in the case of confidential cooperation with a representative of a foreign state (Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by Mediazona, who discovered the decision of the Court of Appeal on a complaint against the election of a preventive measure.
Dobrovolsky was placed under house arrest on March 29, 2025. He appealed this decision and asked him to appoint a non -departure to him, and if a preventive measure is maintained, to allow daily two -hour walks and calls to his wife. However, on April 4, Kamchatka Regional Court left his request.
The case was opened on March 26. At the same time, the explanations that formed the basis of this case, the FSB officers took from Dobrovolsky back in November 2024. Since then, it was repeatedly called to the FSB.
What exactly is accused of a man is unknown. According to the court order, during the polls he told the security forces that he had communicated with representatives of the SBU for a long time, and in 2023 he went to Ukraine to replace the passport.
Dobrovolsky has a disability of the second group, he has speech and cognitive disorders. In addition to his wife, he has no other relatives in Russia. His sons live in Ukraine.
In May, the man extended the deadline for house arrest. He again tried to appeal this decision and this time asked to appoint him a ban on certain actions, but the regional court again refused .
