In Saratov, due to the explosion, the fifth, corner entrance of a ten-story residential building at 2 Street Street, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Emergencies and the governor of the region of Busargin , killed, six more people were injured, another 15 were injured.

The Ministry of Emergencies said that the explosion occurred at about 11 in the morning and touched the tenth floors from the seventh. At the same time, TASS, citing a source in operational services, said that part of the building collapsed from the first to the tenth floor. The interlocutor of the agency also added that more than 30 apartments were damaged or completely destroyed.

Later, a video appeared in the telegram channels on which it is noticeable that the damage received not only the upper, but also the lower floors of the residential building. According to preliminary data, which are given by the Ministry of Emergencies and the governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin , the cause of the explosion could be a gas leak.

Six people were killed, including one child, they told the Ministry of Emergencies. 15 residents were injured, they were abstracted by assistance, Busargin said .

The prosecutor’s office of the Saratov region said that they were being checked in connection with the “gas-air mixture cotton”. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under an article on the provision of services that do not meet security requirements (Article 238 of the Criminal Code).

About 16 days, Busargin announced the introduction of regional emergency regime "for the operational interaction of all services and departments and attracting maximum resources to eliminate consequences and assistance to victims."
