In the south of Germany, the train got off the rails. Three people were killed, more than 40 were injured

In Germany, the passenger train got off the rails, three people died, reports Tagesspiegel.

The incident occurred in the evening of July 27 in the south-west of the country in the Baden-Würtenberg region. The regional train followed from Sigmaringen to Ulm.

In addition to the three dead, one of which is a train driver, at least 41 people were injured. In total, about a hundred people rode in wagons.

According to preliminary police data, the cause of the crash was a landslide: due to heavy rains, the soil left a bias to a rail rut.
