Leonida Nevzlin was fined under the article on non -fulfillment of the duties of a “foreign agent”

The Presnensky District Court fined the former co-owner of Yukos Leonid Nevzlin under an administrative article on non-fulfillment of the duties of a foreign agent, the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow reports.

The fine amounted to 50 thousand rubles.

• Nevzlin was declared a “foreign agent” in June 2023.
• Nevzlin since 2003 has been living in Israel. In Russia, a businessman in 2008 was sentenced in absentia to a life sentence within the framework of the Yukos case on charges of organizing a number of murders.
• In 2024, the Corruption Foundation accused Leonid Nevzlin of ordering an attempt on Leonid Volkov in Vilnius and an attack on several other oppositionists. Nevzlin rejected the prosecution. In the investigation of the attacks conducted by the Polish Prosecutor's Office, Nevzlin officially does not appear as a suspect - while local media wrote that the investigation, according to the version, that the businessman “inspired” the organizer of the crimes.
