The Khanty-Mansi District Court sentenced the folklorist and bard Valery Ledkov, accused of financing the FBK, to 120 thousand rubles of a fine. This was reported by his lawyer Pavel Rusnakov.

The prosecution requested four years in the colony for Ledkov.

59-year-old Ledkov is pursued under an article on financing extremist activities (part 1 of article 282.3 of the Criminal Code). According to the security forces, the man listed the FBK six donations after the organization was declared “extremist” in Russia.

The first payment of 300 rubles was written off on August 5, 2021. After that, Ledkov, according to the investigation, connected the monthly payment and, until February 5, 2022, transferred another 1.8 thousand rubles.

The case was opened on December 24, 2024, the reason for him was the first Donat of the FBK of 300 rubles. The new criminal case due to donations of 1.8 thousand rubles became known on April 1. It was combined into one production with the previous one.

Before the sentence, Ledkov was under house arrest.
