But now the parliamentary opposition, inspired by the “Revolution on Cardboard” (such a name received a massive youth protest in Kiev and in other cities of the country, has already told about this campaign in detail), overwhelmed the determination to return the Rada to not one day, as an exception.

For deputies - cardboard without a mat

How is it incomprehensible, but in the morning of July 31 to the Mariinsky Park, that next door to the Verkhovna Rada (according to the laws of wartime it is a regime territory), a group of protesters with cardboard had leaked that they have already gained worldwide fame, with a state flag and a large banner with a photo of the hundreds of heroes who died on the Maidan. They chanted "deputies to work!" And "Independence for NABU and SAP!"

Part of the cardboard with slogans migrated from the park to the session hall. The deputies from the opposition liked a new method of expression of thoughts and views. The slogans “There was no such thing in the series” (a hint of the role of Zelensky in the famous movie “Servant of the People”), “Ukraine is not Russia” or “Kim Jong Ze, forget about the second term!” Every now and then fell into television cameras. However, I did not see obscene expressions among them. But it was impossible not to notice that several stormy rally days played a role.

They were enough for the EU through diplomatic channels to transfer the imperative to the Ukrainian authorities “suspend macrofinance assistance”, and President Vladimir Zelensky sent his bill to Rada, who played the situation with the status of anti -corruption bodies back. It is impossible to beat the Russian aggressor in Ukraine without the help and support of the European Union.

The specialized publication "Economic Pravda" explained to its readers the background of the European "Freezing". Ukraine is completely dependent on external financing. All non -person needs of the state - expenses for education, healthcare or social support - are provided at the expense of international partners. The greatest budget donor is the European Union. On Saturday, July 26, The New York Times said : the EU cuts out funding to Kiev due to a scandalous law that provoked a crisis.

In fact, the Economic Pravda claimed (and a number of experts confirmed its conclusions), the reduction of the next tranche-from 4.5 to 3 billion euros-is connected not so much with NABU and SAP, but with the non-fulfillment of a number of conditions, which are drawn from the first quarter of 2025.

Ukraine was supposed to increase the personnel composition of the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court (VAKS), reform the Agency for the search and management of assets (ARMA), and adopt the legislation regarding the reform of the territorial organization of the executive branch. None of the above did.

Therefore, a decrease in trenches - a predictable story, continued “Economic Truth”. Ukraine deliberately subscribed to it when it entered the UKRain Facility program in 2023. Program principle: "Money in exchange for reforms." In this case, the donors acted the accumulative effect of the lack of reforms. And scandalous initiatives around NABU and SAP and the reaction to them streets created the appropriate political background and became the last straw.

The bad news did not end there. A high EU official, participating in the negotiations, confirmed to reporters of the authoritative publication “European Pravda” that loans under the ERA program (due to profit from frozen assets of the Russian Federation), and financing from the National Code (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) and the EIB (European Investment Bank) are terminated for the same reason.

How the fire was stewed

They decided to deal with the problems from the end, from the most noticeable and loud, which caused mass protests for the first time in more than three years of martial law.

“Everyone heard what people say these days - on social networks, each other, on the streets ...” - Zelensky stated in a traditional evening television show on July 23. The words acted on many of the 263 deputies who voted “for” as a shot of the starting gun: they rushed to repent on Facebook. Ukrainian media published selections of such sincere confessions: “I feel personal responsibility, I am not looking for excuses”, “It is now clear that not the whole process was properly thought out”, “I thought that the text agreed with partners at the highest level”,

“I consider my vote for bill number 12414 the first serious miscalculation”, “The power of democracy is that society has a vote, and politicians must hear this voice. I'm waiting for the presidential bill! ”

Of the alternative legislative initiatives, the most discussed in the media space was the design of the authorship of Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Parliamentary Party "Fatherland". Tymoshenko and her political force, I recall, together supported the document that caused a crisis with their voices.

Now Julia Vladimirovna proposed to embark on the path of reform, first creating the national assembly of the heroes of Ukraine. “Today we have 211 living heroes who took part in hostilities. And so they must appoint the leadership of anti -corruption bodies. Firstly, these are the absolute moral authorities of the country. And secondly, these people are closest to corruption-when there is not enough weapons, ammunition due to corruption, there is no normal clothing, poor nutrition, ”Tymoshenko said. And she continued: they say, all anti -corruption bodies are appointed by the International Advisory Council consisting of foreign citizens, "the goal of which we do not know in Ukraine at all." The leader of the "Fatherland" was categorical: this time she supports only her own brainchild! This did not affect the result of voting for the presidential bill.

After hell

... The night of July 30 to July 31 was Adova for Kyiv. First, the city attacked more than three dozen jet miners, fires flashed. Hell sounded at 3:18. People from shelters and metro returned home, finally laid the children to sleep normally. And at 4:29 - anxiety again. Eight cruise missiles were launched from the border with the Chernihiv region in Kyiv - probably from ground -based installations. The flying time to the capital is three minutes ... The goals of the Russian terrorists, already without any false excuses, chose in the residential sector: so that people probably did not have time to run out, would not be saved.

In the Svyatoshinsky district, a whole entrance collapsed due to the impact of the rocket, people remained under the rubble. Serious damage to apartments in houses in the Solomensky district. In Goloseevsky - a school and a kindergarten were injured. In Shevchenkovsky, the shock wave knocked out windows in a children's hospital.

Again the hunchief and the third alarm - the ballistics flies.

The video was recorded by the mayor Vitaly Klitschko: it is known about six dead, among them a six -year -old boy. The wounded - more than fifty, including nine children. Since the beginning of the invasion of the capital, so many childhood blood in one night has never been spilled in the capital.
