Otherwise, secondary sanctions will be introduced in relation to countries that continue to purchase Russian energy resources. After only two weeks, Trump reduced the term of his ultimatum to 10 days - due to the fact that the fighting intensified. “I am disappointed with President Putin. They are very disappointed, ”the American president stated. The term of the ultimatum expires on the coming on Friday, and, despite the originally demonstrated indifference, nevertheless, it seems, the Russian side relates quite seriously.
Today, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with Vladimir Zelensky after preliminary preparation “at the expert level”. And, we can assume, in response to the skirmish of Trump with Medvedev in social networks concerning nuclear threats, called for being restrained in words.
Today, Trump stated that the visit of his special supporter Steve Whitkoff in the Russian Federation is possible on August 6 or August 7. In parallel, another closest adviser to the American president - General Kit Kelloglog will go to Kyiv.
However, not only the pressure of the American side is currently acting on Vladimir Putin - but also the pressure of internal circumstances. In the so -called "new territories" - a full -scale humanitarian catastrophe, which is problematic to remove the severity of which is problematic in the conditions of ongoing hostilities. Without water, according to various calculations, from 800 thousand to a million “new citizens” - and the Kremlin, of course, aware of what is happening. The offended thought that the creator of the animated series Oleg Kuvaev* "depicts citizens as victims of propaganda and mocking patriotic feelings."
