The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the Ukrainian military attacked the seaport of Olya on August 14 in the Astrakhan region, which, according to Kiev, Russia uses to deliver military goods from Iran.
The General Staff said that they were amazed at the port of Port Olya-4 , on which there were components to shock drones of the Shakud type and ammunition from Iran. The Ukrainian military added that "the results of the defeat are specified."
Ukrainian telegram channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+ published photos that say, the ship “Olya-4” is shown after the attack-it was partially sank. The vessel in the photographs is similar to the pictures of the Oli-4, which were published on sites that track the location of the vessels ( 1 , 2 ).
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak, commenting on a blow to the ship, said: “If there is a desire to transport components for weapons and drones killing Ukrainians, then you should not be surprised when the transport begins to sink.”
The Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin confirmed that Ukraine attacked the port of Olya with drones on August 14. According to him, all the drones were shot down or suppressed by electronic warfare. In the port, “the wreckage of the downed UAV is damaged by the ship,” added the head of the region.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not comment on a blow to the Astrakhan region.
