The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus included the 78-year-old Belarusian activist Nina Baginskaya in the "List of extremists", Mirror reports with reference to the department's website.
Baginskaya was introduced into the register in connection with the entry into force of the decision of the court of the Pervomaisky district of Minsk in the case of an activist.
In May, against Baginskaya, a case was made about repeated violation of the procedure for conducting mass events (Article 342-2 of the Criminal Code of Belarus). The reason for the case was Baginskaya’s walks along the streets of Minsk with a white-red-white badge on clothes, in “national symbolism”, as well as a T-shirt with the inscription “No War”. Before the criminal case, several administrative protocols were drawn up for the activist.
The court was held closed. As a result, the case was stopped, but the activist was appointed preventive supervision.
