The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation proposed introducing special markers for buyers who systematically do not redeem goods on marketplaces. According to the Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, with sites will discuss the problem of mass refusals of orders that make it difficult to distinguish between bona fide buyers and unfair competition. The introduction of special drops for users is among possible solutions. The ministry calls on the business to formulate the problem and options for solving it.

The head of the Ministry of Economic Development noted that the practice of mass orders, followed by the rejection of redemption, leads to damage to goods and increases the logistics costs of sellers. The agency is ready to consider response measures to such behavior of buyers in preparation for entry into force of the new law on the platform economy from October 1, 2026.
