The Moscow authorities from the beginning of the school year plan to transfer all school and parental chats to Max National Messenger

Since the beginning of the school year, the Moscow authorities plan to transfer all school and parental chats to the Max messenger. This was announced at a press conference in TASS by the deputy of the capital's mayor Anastasia Rakova.

According to the official, this is due to the Federal Law on the "National Messenger", which was adopted in the summer of the State Duma. A week ago, the government included Max messenger in the list of applications that are mandatory for pre -installations on smartphones and tablets.

At the end of July, Kommersant wrote that school chats in six regions of Russia-Tatarstan, Mari El, Altai, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, as well as the Vladimir and Tver region, will be transferred to Max as part of a pilot project.

Later, the Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov said that the agency does not plan to “forcibly” to transfer domestic communication to the National Messenger. At the same time, he made a reservation that the education system “as quickly as possible” would switch to him.

The Max messenger in 2022 began to develop the VK Internet holding (formerly Mail.ru ) , which is headed by Vladimir Kiriyenko, the son of the deputy head of the Putin administration Sergei Kiriyenko.

As planned by the creators, Max will become an analogue of Chinese WeChat and will aggregate the data of Russians from state bases. With the help of a messenger, Russians will be able to receive public services, confirm their identity and make payments.

In August, users from Russia began to massively report problems with calls to Telegram and WhatsApp . Three days later, Roskomnadzor confirmed the blocking of calls through these messengers and said that the reason for the restrictions was “opposition to criminals”.

After that, the Russians were recommended to use a “safe” analogue in the form of Max messenger. At the same time, cases of fraud through Max also began to appear.
