Russian President Vladimir Putin during a visit to China held negotiations with the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fitzo. The video recording of negotiations in Beijing was published by the Kremlin press service.
Fitz is the only leaders of the countries - members of the European Union, who came to China and talked with Putin, Ukrainian publications note. Earlier, Western countries and the press have repeatedly accused the prime minister of Slovakia of a pro-Russian position because of his criticism of Ukraine.
At the beginning of the negotiations, Putin and Fitz exchanged courtesies. The President of Russia thanked Slovakia for the "independent foreign policy." The Prime Minister of Slovakia in response compared the European Union with the "toad at the bottom of the well", which does not see the world around him. “And I am sometimes very disappointed that in the European Union ... Despite the fact that I respect the European Union, it is not able to respond to movement in the world,” added Fitzo, noting several times that Slovakia is striving for cooperation with the Russian Federation.
One of the main topics of Putin and Fitz was the attacks of Ukraine on the Russian energy infrastructure. Although directly certain objects were not mentioned, probably, the reason for such a discussion was also an attack on the Russian oil pipeline “Friendship”. Over the past month, Ukrainian drones were struck by Friendship several times . Due to attacks, the pipeline, according to which Russian oil is received by Hungary and Slovakia, interrupted the work. The ministers of the Foreign Affairs of Slovakia and Hungary complained to the European Commission for blows to Friendship, calling for "immediately ensure compliance with obligations to ensure the safety of energy supply of the EU Member States.
During the meeting with Putin, Fitzo noted that Slovakia “reacts very hard” to attacks on oil infrastructure. He announced a meeting with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in Uzhgorod , promising to “very seriously” discuss this issue with him. In addition, Fitzo said that Slovakia would vote against the European Commission plan, which implies a phased abandonment of Russian energy carriers by 2027.
Putin replied that Moscow “suffered for a very long time” the blows of Ukrainian forces on Russian energy facilities, and then began to “seriously respond” (as exactly, he did not specify). In response, according to him, the Ukrainian side is trying to damage Russia, but also damages in Moscow partners.
“Well, what can be said here, Ukraine receives a significant amount of energy resources through its neighbors in Eastern Europe. Close the gas supplies for reverse, close them with electricity supplies, and they will immediately understand that there are some limits of their behavior in the field of violation of other people's interests, ”the Russian president called. Putin did not mention Russian blows on the energy of Ukraine, including in the winter.
Putin also called NATO countries "horror films" due to "injection of hysteria" about the possible attack of Russia on Europe. According to him, this is either a “provocation” or “complete incompetence”, since the Russian Federation “never had, no and will not have a desire to attack anyone”. The President of the Russian Federation once again accused the West of the Commerce Caption in Ukraine in 2014. In addition, he repeated that Russia was against Ukraine’s entry into NATO, but “never objected” against the attachment of the country to the EU.
He also said that at the US leader Donald Trump in Alaska, he discussed options for ensuring the security of Ukraine after the end of the war. According to the Russian president, here “there is an opportunity to achieve consensus” and he hopes that the constructive dialogue with the United States will continue.
Putin arrived in China on August 31 on a four -day visit. He took part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit ( SCO ), which took place in the Chinese Tianjin. The Russian president also negotiated with the leader of China Xi Jinping and Turkish President Recep Erdogan. Putin's meeting with Serbia President Alexander Vucic is also planned.

Hermann. I am a personnel officer of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. And I hate this war.
At the age of 18, being a young man, I entered a military school. By the end of the training, completely disappointed from what I saw and learned, I firmly decided to quit and never return to the civil service. My beloved girl was waiting for my dismissal in Moscow, I mastered a new profession, plans for a new life were made with might and main. It is a pity that the process of dismissing a newly made officer takes a lot of time and bureaucratic procedures. While the papers wandered from the table to the table, and the war began.
I still recall with trembling the moment of awareness that the horror that has begun, now an integral part of my life, and I am its immediate participant. And most importantly, from this moment I can’t go anywhere. All colleagues took this news with enthusiasm, it seemed to me that I alone saw in the war primarily a war, and not a thoughtful geopolitical move. Before my eyes, colleagues, sharing the liberal views similar to my liberal views and found different excuses for what was happening. At some point, a public discussion reached a point when even saying something against the war in the team became unacceptable.
But much worse than all other problems was the real threat of my life, my future and people close to me. The fear that one of the days will be sent to me “for the tape” became my permanent companion. After all, what will happen there? Either death or prison. I began to appreciate the fact that my specialty is not very in demand on the front line, but every year, when forming new “teams”, they look at it less and less. I literally became a slave that can neither quit nor go into a refusal. And the contract with the Ministry of Defense became akin to the contract with the devil. For disobedience, two outcomes: either on the "front -line" or to prison. All that remains is “not to shine” and wait.
From the first days I believed in the quickly completion of this conflict. So three years have passed. But I still believe, although weaker, with a great degree of fatigue. I cling with hope for every news about negotiations and to the core I am upset because of the next political clowning. Almost everyone thinks that if you are a military, then you are for war. No. Though there are really a majority.
