In several Russian cinemas, they are preparing for the premiere of the film “Kremlin Wizard” with Juda Lowe, who plays the role of Vladimir Putin, RIA Novosti reports .

In particular, the announcements of the film showed on the platforms of the Premier and OKKO online cinemas. At the same time, as the agency writes, an application for a rental certificate for the film in the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has not yet been received.

The French director Olivier Assayas was engaged in the shooting, in addition to Low, the film will appear in the picture Paul Dano, Alisia Vikander, Zach Galifianakis and Tom Sterridge.

The film "Kremlin Wizard" is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by the writer Juliano da Empoli, which he released in February 2022. According to the plot, the action took place in the early 1990s in Russia. The protagonist, television producer Vadim Baranov begins to work as a political strategist in Putin and becomes an influential person. Also in the book appear Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Boris Berezovsky and Evgeny Prigozhin. The prototype of Baranov himself is called Vladislav Surkov.

The premiere of the picture took place at the Venice Film Festival in August.
