The Investigative Committee completed the investigation of the second criminal case against the former Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Timur Ivanov, he was charged with the final edition. It is reported by Kommersant.
Ivanov is accused of three episodes of receiving bribes totaling more than 1.3 billion rubles. In addition, he is charged with the legalization of criminal income, illegal storage and alteration of weapons.
The initial Ivanov was accused of receiving only one bribe in the amount of at least 1.185 billion rubles in the period from 2018 to 2023 from Alexander Fomin, the co -founder of the Olympthistroy company, one of the largest contractors of the Ministry of Defense. In the exchange of Fomin, on favorable terms, contracts with the military department concluded contracts for contracting and subcontracting work.
Another episode of the bribe is associated with the free construction of Olympicistustrome in 2023 by a bath with a boiler room of 56 million rubles near the house of Ivanov Svetlana Zakharova on Rublevo-Uspensky Highway.
The third bribe in the amount of 152 million rubles, according to investigators, is a loan, which in 2022 Fomina Propt provided the Russian village agricultural complex, whose co -founder was the businessman Sergey Borodin, the investigation considers it an authorized person of Ivanov. The Russian village is engaged in the supply of canned vegetables and tomato paste. SK believes that the loan was irrevocable.
Timur Ivanov does not plead guilty. According to his lawyer Murad Musaev, Ivanov did not lobby for the interests of Alexander Fomin when concluding contracts with the military department. At the same time, after meeting Fomin, Ivanov, according to the lawyer, began to communicate quite closely with him, after which they became business partners, "but only in projects that had nothing to do with the Ministry of Defense."
