Why are the Nazis and Sharaga pressing the Crimean anarchist?
When the Russian military appeared in Crimea, Zlata was seven years old. She didn’t even understand what country these soldiers were from. But she remembers well how she didn’t want to approach them and cried when her parents forced her to take a photo with them. Over time, she realized what country those soldiers came from. “When I got older and started reading a lot, I realized that I wasn’t happy with the regime in which I now live,” she tells No Future at the beginning of her story. Then there will be a lot of garbage, threats from teachers and professors, registration, failed attempts to press a schoolgirl for singing songs in Ukrainian, and the Nazis who “declared war on her.” We recorded Zlata's monologue about why she doesn't piss and doesn't give up.
My activism began when I was 13 years old . Then there was a law banning LGBT propaganda among minors, and I felt offended that people who don’t like their gender were oppressed like that. I created a community to support teenagers who were in difficult situations due to their orientation. The school management found out about this. They registered me and called me to the coordination council. They threatened that they would file a police report against me. But then it was simply physically impossible to do anything, because I was 13. So they simply put me on the register. And VKontakte blocked my community . I had to shut up for a while because I was still a child. I switched to another activity: writing propaganda poems.
I used to hold liberal views . My best friend and I started participating in rallies for Navalny. We got out in the city center in Crimea. Somehow plainclothes cops approached us. I said absolutely random data, but my friend, unfortunately, said real data. He was detained, FSB officers came to his home, threatened him, and said that people like him “ should be beaten with sticks. ” They didn’t come to see me, but they called me and my parents back to school. To talk about why the daughter is engaged in prohibited political activities. After that, our rallies ended, and I continued to engage in activism on the Internet: I posted articles, posts, and wrote poetry in support of political prisoners. After that situation with the rallies, I was still called to the police station, by the way. They asked why I was engaged in politics that contradicted the policies of the Russian Federation.

On February 24, I saw the news and went crazy. I continued to write posts about how monstrous it was. My friend and I went to a hippie festival in Crimea, I painted a T-shirt and wrote “Fuck war” on the back. With a reference to the group “Ta Tu”. I didn’t plan to demonstrate it publicly; I put a jacket on top. But we went into a cafe and I took it off. Then three people in bulletproof vests with machine guns suddenly burst in and said: “You are accused of an illegal single picket.” Someone saw the inscription, it seemed, and quickly knocked.
We were taken to the station. I knew my rights, that I could use Article 51 of the Constitution and remain silent and not testify against myself. And she told her friend to be silent. The woman who interrogated me asked: “Who prepared you?”, “Who sent you?” They thought someone was paying me. They didn’t do anything to me, but they called my parents and took a photo of me and the T-shirt. The protocol stated that I was accused of discrediting the armed forces of the Russian Federation. My parents received a protocol for failure to fulfill parenting duties and a fine. This was reported to the school, where I was treated very harshly because of my political views. I ended up being registered with the police until I was 18 years old.

I started street performances, played the guitar, sang Ukrainian songs. At some point, a gang of 20 guys approached me and began to demand that I stop singing in the “enemy” language. They filmed me, then started shaking my stand and shouting into the microphone. My friend stood up for me and got punched in the face. The cops arrived and took me to the department. The girl who was with them wrote a statement against me about discrediting the Russian Armed Forces because of songs in Ukrainian. While we were driving to the department, they asked me why I sing in Ukrainian. I said that this is the official language in Crimea and I have the right. They said that if I sang “Okean Elzy”, then it was a crime, and they threatened to check social networks and criminal prosecution. The department did not let me out, the cops tried to confiscate the phone without a protocol, and threatened to take it away “in a bad way.” But I know my rights and that they cannot seize the phone unless it is a means of committing a crime. I wrote to OVD-Info, they sent a lawyer. After his arrival, the attitude immediately softened and the threats stopped. I was interrogated and released. A few months later, a notification came that the case was not opened because the video with “Elsa’s Ocean” was not found.

“Hello everyone, the first rule of our chat is to tell Karina to go to hell” - this was the first message in the chat of my new group. After school, I went to Moscow and entered the Capital Vocational College for socio-cultural activities. This Karina was bullied because of her appearance. I stood up for her. After that, some found my Telegram channel and saw that I was an anarchist. Severe humiliations began because of my ideological position. The girl who wrote that message directly asked how I felt about Nazism. I said it was negative. And she posted swastikas in the general chat... and basically they declared war on me. My Telegram channel and social networks were attacked. Someone got through all my comments, subscriptions, and personal correspondence through bots. They took screenshots of my personal life, although there was nothing illegal there, and sent them to the college management and students’ parents. They complained about me. The curator wrote that I need to close the telegram channel and stop such activities.
The director called me. I wanted to discuss my studies, asked if he had seen my portfolio, and he responded: “What portfolio? Portfolio where you promote LGBT people? Where do you discredit the authorities? And what about your bare chest?” He showed me printed screenshots from my social media, photos of me in front of a rainbow flag, photos of my bare back from art school when I posed. He said: “You see, I can take all this to the FSB, I have to do it.” I said that there was no evidence of a crime and left. Then the curator said that a police report had been filed against me. One of the parents contacted me, took screenshots of my publications and comments and wrote a statement. I offered to meet with these parents, give the contacts of my parents, but they don’t tell me anything, it’s completely cold.

The most fucked up thing is that the management and parents ignore the fact that we have a Nazi girl studying in our course who does not hide her views. She and her sycophants provoke bullying. Because of them, one girl has already dropped out. There were attacks on me too: threats that I would be imprisoned, that my cellmates would rape me. I spoke with the curator. She asked: “Do you know that she is a Nazi?” He replied: “Oh, my little goats, I know, of course.” But he acted like it was nothing. He discounted this fact. The director also knows this very well. I was told that this is “patriotism”. Like, this is about that girl’s phrase: “Am I a Nazi if I think that the Slavs are the coolest race?”

They literally told me about expulsion. The curator asked if I would like to consider the option of entering another university, because there was a question about my possible expulsion due to my views and personal life. I'm going to get cleaned up in October anyway. But I can’t leave, leaving this crap that has deprived me of the opportunity to study normally. This happens because the college supports Nazi ideology under the guise of patriotism. This happened before me and will continue after me. I am not happy that these people will continue to bully others. I want them to be held accountable. I am sure that I will do everything to achieve this. I hope that my example will show that even in this country you can achieve justice when your views do not correspond to public policy. So that others do not remain silent either, but stand up for their rights.
