Realizing that she would certainly be cut off from Petrosyan, she was accredited as a mentor of the Georgian team and thus turned out to be (albeit not very close-she had no right to take the Russian woman to the ice) with her ward at the time of the most important start in her career.

Here it is necessary to recall once again that the wonderful 18-year-old Adelia (by the way, the first girl who performed the four Ritberger) at an adult level never competed with rivals from Europe. And now it was not just to compete - it was necessary to get into the five strongest, so as not to fly past the games, which, quite likely (no matter how sad it sounds), may also be the first and last for various reasons.
