According to TASS, the Vietnamese performer said that after Dronov’s refusal to participate in the jury voting, his chances of victory grew a lot. The Russian agency also claims that Duc Fuk promised to send his winnings - the winner of “Intervations” is entitled to a prize of 30 million rubles - for charity in Russia.
In addition, already during the competition it became known that the performer of VASSY, an Australian of Greek origin, who was supposed to represent the United States, will not participate in “interval”. The presenters of the competition explained this to “political pressure” by Australia. Earlier in the review “for family reasons”, another US representative Brandon Howard refused to participate.
