Former chief of staff Nadezhdin spoke about his detention in Khimki and the requirement to leave the country “within three days”

Lawyer and former head of Boris Nadezhdin's headquarters, Dmitry Kisiev, was detained on October 3 by security forces, who took him from an apartment in the Moscow region to the police, he said in his Telegram channel.

“Late in the evening, the owner of the house from whom I rent in Khimki knocks on the door. I open it and see six people to take just one of me. Of course, no one introduced themselves or showed any documents,” Kisiev wrote.

According to him, police officers in the department demanded that he leave Russia “within three days.”

In July 2025, Kisiev said that he was deprived of his acquired Russian citizenship by the FSB due to a “threat to national security” - the lawyer received citizenship in 2014 as a native of the annexed Crimea.

“I have trials going on. During all this time, no one showed me the decision to deprive me of citizenship. And the grounds for his deprivation are related to state secrets,” noted former chief of staff Nadezhdina.
