In Moscow, a military man was arrested for five days for demanding money from metro passengers with a sign “Please help, SVO member”

The Tushinsky District Court of Moscow sentenced serviceman Oleg Adamov to five days of administrative arrest under a protocol for petty hooliganism. The telegram channel “Caution, Moscow” drew attention to the court’s decision .

The court stated that on September 30, 36-year-old Adamov stood with a sign “Please help, SVO member” in the lobby of a Moscow metro station. The man approached passengers and demanded money from them, behaved aggressively and did not respond to comments, the resolution says.

The protocol against Adamov was drawn up by an employee of the internal affairs department at the Moscow Metro of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and four witnesses gave written testimony. In court, the man did not dispute what happened.

The resolution also states that Adamov was born in the Bryansk region. Previously, he was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility “for committing similar offenses.”

The court did not clarify whether Adamov was actually a participant in the war in Ukraine. In June 2024, the man published photographs from the hospital on his VKontakte page. In one of the photographs, on a sheet behind Adamov’s back, it is written that he is a private. It also stated that he was wounded on May 10 and was admitted to the hospital two weeks later.
