Billionaire Ibragim Suleymanov was sent to pre-trial detention center on charges of contract killings

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow remanded billionaire Ibragim Suleymanov into custody, the press service of the capital's courts reports .

He is accused of two counts of organizing a murder (Part 3 of Article 33, paragraph “g” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code), as well as organizing attempted murder (Part 3 of Article 33, Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph “g” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code).

Ibragimov himself did not admit guilt, a Sotavision correspondent reported , citing the businessman’s lawyers.

The detention of Ibragim Suleymanov became known on October 3. According to the anonymous telegram channel “VChK-OGPU”, a few days ago a man named Abakar Darbishev was detained on suspicion of murder, who testified against Suleymanov, and then died in a security forces car on the way to investigative measures.
