Drones attacked the Orsknefteorgsintez plant in Orsk

The Azot plant in the Perm region, 1,700 km from the border, was also hit.

On the morning of October 3, Ukrainian drones attempted to attack an industrial facility in the city of Orsk, Orenburg region . As the governor of the region, Evgeny Solntsev, said, “the technological processes at the enterprise have not been disrupted, there are no casualties.” At the same time, according to telegram channels and video recordings, the blow hit the territory of the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery, one of the largest in Russia.

The mayor of Orsk, Artyom Vorobyov, said that the Ministry of Defense forces were working in the city and called on residents not to leave their homes. Video recordings published by the Ukrainian monitoring channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+ show the moment when one of the drones hit the plant. Local publications report a “pop” at the enterprise.

Orsknefteorgsintez is a plant with a processing capacity of 5.7 million tons per year, producing more than 30 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and fuel oil. He is part of the Forteinvest industrial holding, associated with businessman Mikhail Gutseriev. Orsk is located 1,400 km from the Ukrainian border, which makes the attack one of the longest-ranged during the entire war.

The second UAV strike hit the Azot chemical plant in the Perm region

On the same morning of October 3, UAVs attacked the city of Berezniki in the Perm Territory, where the Azot chemical plant, a branch of the Uralchem ​​company, is located. Governor Dmitry Makhonin reported damage to a residential building, but there were no casualties.

At the plant, according to Makhonin, there was a short stop in the technological cycle, then work was restored.

Local sources reported an explosion of a refrigeration unit in one of the workshops on the evening of October 2, and at 03:05 local time the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations declared a “drone danger.” The Russian Ministry of Defense did not mention the Perm region in its morning report.
The Azot enterprise produces hazardous chemical products, including ammonium nitrate, which is used as a fertilizer and as an explosive component. The plant is located approximately 1,700 km from the Ukrainian border.

Raw materials revenues are declining in Russia

Russian federal budget revenues from oil and gas continue to decline. The Ministry of Finance announced this on Friday. In September, the budget received 582.5 billion rubles from taxes related to the production and export of oil and gas. This is 25% less than in September last year.

Since the beginning of the year, commodity revenues have decreased by 1.7 trillion rubles and amounted to 6.6 trillion. At the same time, the decline is accelerating. In the first five months of the year the decline was 14%. By the end of June it had risen to 17%. In July the decrease was 18%, in August - 20%, and at the end of nine months - already 21%.

Oil severance tax revenues were down 32% in September compared with last year. For gas, the drop was 52%. Revenues from export duties also decreased by 27%.

Earlier, “Verstka” reported that in Russia, due to drone attacks, almost 40% of the capacity of Russian refineries is idle, and the market is experiencing a serious fuel shortage . 70% of stops are related to attacks by Ukrainian drones.
