A lawsuit demanding to ban the channel was submitted to the court back in June from the prosecutor's office. The department said that during the “monitoring” they discovered a video posted on the channel on May 23, 2024. We are talking about the appeal of the group leader Vladimir Kotlyarov, which he recorded after drawing up a protocol against him about “discrediting” the army.
“It seems to me that the army of the Russian Federation was discredited most of all by the Russian army itself. Occupation of foreign territories, looting in other people's houses, torture, rape, kidnapping of Ukrainian children, massacres - all this the Russian army does every day, which discredits itself every day. Therefore, it seems to me that it would be reasonable if the court redirected its claims somewhere else, for example, to the Ministry of Defense,” Kotlyarov said then.
The prosecutor's office sent this video for a psychological and linguistic examination, which established that Kotlyarov characterizes the army's actions "as criminal, associated with the seizure of someone else's state territory, with robberies, physical violence, torture, leading to physical and moral suffering of people, as well as death."
Based on this, the court decided to recognize all information posted on the Pornofilmov telegram channel as prohibited. The decision was made back on July 16, but the group’s channel still has not appeared in the Roskomnadzor register.
The Pornofilmy group opposed the full-scale invasion of Ukraine from the very first day, and the musicians themselves left Russia. In September 2023, Vladimir Kotlyarov was included in the register of “foreign agents.” Some of the group's songs were removed from Yandex. Music" and Apple Music, and the composition "Turn off the anthem!" recognized as extremist.
Let us remind you that Vorstka previously reported that in Russia the courts banned dozens of sticker sets for Telegram . Among those prohibited are the Ukrainian flag and coat of arms, as well as the greeting “Glory to Ukraine.” We also talked about how the court banned 16 Telegram posts about captured soldiers from the DPRK due to the disclosure of “personnel data of the Russian Armed Forces.” The ban also included posts on Russian propaganda channels where prisoners were called Tuvans.
