The editor-in-chief of the Dozhd TV channel, Tikhon Dzyadko, as well as the head of the information service, Ekaterina Kotrikadze, and presenter Valeria Ratnikova, were included in the list of terrorists and extremists maintained by Rosfinmonitoring.
Criminal caseshave been filed against Dzyadko, Kotrikadze and Ratnikova (as well as another Dozhd presenter, Anna Mongait) for disseminating “fake news” about the army (clause “e” of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code) and for evading the duties of a “foreign agent.” All three were arrested in absentia by the Golovinsky District Court of Moscow and put on the wanted list.
All three Dozhd journalists are included in the list without an asterisk - this, as a rule, indicates a case initiated under a “terrorist” article.
Being included in the Rosfinmonitoring list means blocking accounts in all Russian banks, limiting expenses to 10 thousand rubles per month and other consequences. It is almost impossible to get out of it.
