Spanish authorities seized the property of the head of Russian Helicopters Nikolai Kolesov, a person involved in the FBK investigation

In Spain, real estate owned by the head of the Russian Helicopters holding company, Nikolai Kolesov, was seized on suspicion of money laundering, said Maria Pevchikh, head of the Anti-Corruption Foundation.

According to her, Kolesov’s property was arrested “a month ago.” “That is, based on the results of our investigation, at least an official investigation began in Spain, and perhaps a case was opened,” Pevchikh wrote.

The head of FBK published a fragment of a document in which, translated from Spanish, it states that an interim measure has been taken in relation to “this real estate”, which prohibits its disposal and alienation - in accordance with the letter dated September 11. It is unclear from the fragment what kind of real estate property we are talking about. The photo that Pevchikh attached to this post shows one of Nikolai Kolesov’s villas in Palma de Mallorca.

At the same time, the Spanish villas are registered in the name of Kolesov’s children, who became their owners at the age of four.
