The director of a Belgorod school where terrestrial defense instructors abused children was punished after parents complained

Parents of students at the “Formula for Success” school, located in the village of Tavrovo, Belgorod district, complained about bullying of children during a course on medical care, for which ninth-graders were driven from classes to the assembly hall.

There, children were taught to apply a tourniquet by forcing them to tighten it excessively with their teeth. According to one of the applicants, another schoolboy was pressed on the carotid artery. At the end of classes, some students' hands were bleeding, which was confirmed by photographs.

They shouted at the students, “You’re the 200th!” (corpse), and showed them photographs of the bodies of the dead.

Another part of the lesson consisted of a humiliating procedure, part of which was caught on video:

The student was equipped with a helmet and body armor, and the instructor, to demonstrate the reliability of the armor, hit the student on the helmet on his head with his fist. Stating: “Look, he doesn’t care.”

There were chuckles. The demonstration was given to the whole class.

The instructor then kicked the ninth-grader in the back. And then he gave an ultimatum to his classmates to “try it” themselves and kick the child in the body or hand in the head, which many did.

Complaints came to the channel of Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, after which officials began an investigation. The head of the Belgorod district, Tatyana Krugliakova, responded to the complaint. The police also got involved : “Based on all the facts from the appeal, the Education Department of the Belgorod District Administration is conducting a check in parallel with the Department of Internal Affairs in the district.”

It turned out that the medical assistance lesson was conducted by territorial self-defense officers.

Later, the school director was brought to disciplinary action, the Lantern newspaper reported , citing the head of the district, Kruglyakova.
