Judge of the Sverdlovsk Regional Court Pavel Neretin sentenced 41-year-old former participant in the war in Ukraine Vladimir Alexandrov to life imprisonment, finding him guilty of the rape and murder of an 11-year-old girl in Nizhny Tagil, as well as the rape of a 20-year-old girl and the illegal deprivation of her liberty, a Mediazona correspondent * reported from the courtroom. The court also decided to recover 8 million rubles from him in favor of the father of the deceased girl.
In Yakutia, a district court sentenced Alexei Mikhailov, a participant in the war in Ukraine, who stabbed an acquaintance, to six years in a maximum security colony, the court’s press service reported. 40-year-old Mikhailov from the village of Ust-Nera stabbed an acquaintance in the neck with a knife during an argument. When sentencing, the court recognized participation in the war as a mitigating circumstance.
In the Belgorod region, the military investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case of murder and rape against Russian private Alexei Kostrikin, the department reported. Kostrikin killed the owner of the house in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, and then raped his wife and fled; he was detained a few hours later.
The local publication Lantern writes that the murdered man was an employee of a “large Shebekin enterprise” and helped the Russian military. His wife, according to the publication, works as a school teacher.
