TV presenter Yuri Nikolaev died

Soviet and Russian TV presenter Yuri Nikolaev died at the age of 76, ballet dancer Nikolai Tsiskaridze reported on his Telegram channel. The death of the presenter was confirmed by TASS in the Nikolaev family.

“Yuri Nikolaev has gone to heaven. Just recently, on the air of “Tonight,” we celebrated together the professional anniversary of the Man who lit up so many stars. And now the news has just come that he has passed away. How sad! Let's remember together. Blessed memory,” wrote Tsiskaridze.

According to the Mash telegram channel and the REN TV channel, the presenter became ill at home on the morning of November 4, he was taken to one of the Moscow hospitals, where he died. Shot claims that Nikolaev had a serious lung disease.

Yuri Nikolaev began his television career in 1973. At various times he worked as a presenter of entertainment programs on Russian federal channels. Nikolaev is best known for the musical television programs “Morning Mail”, “Morning Star” and “Property of the Republic”.
