In Dagestan, a helicopter fell on a house. Five people died

Update. Another victim of a helicopter crash in Dagestan died in hospital, TASS reports citing the Izberbash mayor’s office. Thus, the total number of deaths in the accident is five people.

Four people died as a result of a helicopter crash in Dagestan, TASS reports, citing the region’s Health Minister Yaroslav Glazov.

The Ka-226 helicopter crashed near the village of Achi-su, the official said.

There were a total of seven people on board. Three wounded were hospitalized in serious condition.

According to telegram channels, the helicopter was transporting tourists. He was heading to the city of Izberbash and fell at a recreation center.

When the helicopter crashed, it destroyed a private house; there was no one inside the building, the regional operational services said.

The crashed helicopter was transporting employees of the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant, Interfax writes.
