Telegram users in different regions of Russia on the morning of November 8 encountered a malfunction in the messenger, according to data from the Downdetector and “sboi.rf” websites.
Downdetector recorded complaints about both the failure of the mobile application and the failure of the messenger in general. According to Sboy.rf, most of the complaints came from Moscow. Users from many other regions, including the Novosibirsk region, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Territory, and Tatarstan, also reported problems with Telegram. The Durov Code channel also wrote about the glitch.
By 13:30 Moscow time, according to Downdetector and Sboy.rf, the number of complaints about the messenger from Russian users had decreased, but they continued to arrive.
