The Russian Ministry of Defense announced 82 downed Ukrainian drones. In the Volgograd region, several settlements were left without electricity

82 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russian territory on the night of November 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

Including, according to the military department, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 36 drones over the Rostov region, 10 drones over the Bryansk region, nine drones over the Kursk region, and eight drones over the Volgograd region. One drone was shot down over the Moscow, Kaluga and Smolensk regions.

In the Volgograd region, regional governor Andrei Bocharov said, drones attacked energy infrastructure facilities. “Repair services are restoring power supply to the settlements adjacent to the Balashovskaya power line substation in the Kikvidzensky, Uryupinsky, Novonikolaevsky and Novoaninsky districts,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

In Saratov, according to Governor Roman Busargin, one apartment building and several cars were damaged as a result of a drone attack. Two people received moderate injuries.
