US President Donald Trump said that not a single US representative will take part in the G20 summit in South Africa.
“It is a complete disgrace that the G20 will be held in South Africa. Afrikaners (people descended from Dutch settlers, as well as French and German immigrants) are being killed and their lands and farms illegally seized,” Trump wrote on his social network Truth.
As long as South Africa continues to “violate human rights,” he stressed, not a single US representative will attend the summit.
“I look forward to hosting the G20 in 2026 in Miami, Florida!” - he added.
It was previously assumed that the American delegation to the G20 summit in South Africa would be led by Vice President J.D. Vance. Reuters sources confirmed that Vance is not going to the summit.
