On the night of November 14, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Kyiv, using, according to the Ukrainian military, Kinzhal, Zircon, Caliber, Iskander-M missiles, attack drones and simulator drones. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Russian troops used about 430 drones and 18 missiles, including ballistic ones, for the strike.
Destruction occurred in all areas of the city. Residential buildings were damaged in Desnyansky, Obolonsky, Solomensky, Dneprovsky, Svyatoshinsky and Podolsky districts. In the Darnitsky district of the city, a fire occurred on the territory of a school; in the Goloseevsky district, debris fell on the territory of a hospital. Vladimir Zelensky stressed that the Russian strike was deliberately planned in such a way as to “damage people and civilian infrastructure as much as possible.”
“Ukraine responds to these attacks with long-range force, and the world must stop them with sanctions,” the Ukrainian president said. “Russia can still sell oil and build its own schemes. This all needs to stop,” he added.
The President of Ukraine noted that debris from one of the Iskander missiles that attacked Kyiv damaged the building of the Azerbaijani Embassy. Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov was summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, where he was presented with a note, reported the Azerbaijani publication Minval. Zelensky later wrote on his telegram channel that he had spoken with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. According to Zelensky, Aliyev “condemned this strike and emphasized that this is not the first time the Russians are targeting the embassy building and other objects associated with Azerbaijan.”

Anonymous reader (Russia). I'm in pain. People who support war annoy me. It irritates me that among these people there are smart people (it would seem) - professors, teachers, as well as people who should not support it a priori, because they were familiar with this earlier, from childhood - our grandparents.
Every time I hear quotes from Russian propaganda from teachers, I want to scream, argue with them, prove them wrong, fight - but all this is broken by the fact that they will not understand the meaning of what I said. Perhaps it will never come. These are people who are impenetrably confident in their own rightness, who do not want or cannot face the truth. Why do they support the war? Propaganda? Lack of neuroplasticity and critical thinking? Among professors and seemingly smart people? Or maybe they are smart and professors only because they were able to survive in this system, because they live according to an academic textbook and rules, and now television has become this textbook and set of rules?
Apolitical people annoy me; I don’t understand how one can still be one. It is impossible to talk to most of your peers. I often come across the reaction: “Well, what’s wrong? This always is and will be. What difference does it make to me? It doesn't concern me." Yes, I mean, it doesn’t fucking concern? Have you forgotten how to think too? We also don’t know how to build cause-and-effect relationships?
The complete feeling that no one cares. I cannot estimate the ratio of adequate and non-humans, but it seems to me that there are more apolitical ones. And this is the worst thing, because it’s like poking a dead person with a needle.
The other day I was riding on the subway and saw a man next to me reading Meduza. It's nice to know that we are not alone.
