Stoptime musicians left Russia. Fontanka reports this.
First it became known about the departure of vocalist Diana Loginova (Naoko), then guitarist Alexander Orlov and drummer Vladislav Leontyev. The musicians themselves and their relatives have not yet commented on the situation, and lawyers limit themselves to the wording “safe.”
The day before, Loginova and Orlov were released after yet another arrest; security forces secretly took them from the special detention center to another area to prevent the artists from meeting with journalists. The band's drummer, Vladislav Leontyev, was released from the special detention center on November 9.
- The musicians were arrested for the first time on October 16 because of street performances with anti-war songs and compositions by “foreign agents.”
- After the first arrest was served, a “carousel” began - several administrative detentions of one person in a row. This is a scheme that Russian security forces often use before opening a criminal case.
- In different cities, local artists performed in support of “stoptime”, and they were also persecuted for this. At the same time as Loginova and Orlov, street singer Ekaterina Romanova was released from a special detention center in Perm. The girl spent 22 days in custody - she served 7 days of arrest for refusing a drug test, and another 15 days were assigned to her in the case of disobedience to the police. The real reason was the speech in support of “stoptime”.
