Former vice-president of Lukoil Leonid Fedun sold his stake in the oil company, Reuters reported on November 25, citing sources.
According to them, Fedun sold his share at the beginning of 2025, selling about 10% of the shares, the buyer was Lukoil itself. Reuters estimates Fedun's stake was worth about $7 billion, but it is unclear whether he received that exact amount.
In August, Lukoil said it would cancel 76 million shares, or about 11% of its capital, that it had repurchased on the market in 2024-2025.
Lukoil declined to comment. Journalists were unable to contact Fedun.
