In Moscow, a metro passenger slapped blogger Ksenia Karpova on the buttocks and was caught on video. The girl complained to the police - and she was fined

A blogger from Moscow, Ksenia Karpova, who complained to the police about the harassment of a metro passenger, was fined based on the man’s counterclaim. The girl was found guilty of allegedly obstructing the passage of passengers. The court ordered Karpova to pay an administrative fine in the amount of 25 thousand rubles. The incident occurred on December 3. As Karpova told “Caution, News,” she and her friend Eva Kobytova were returning from filming the show. Late in the evening at the Baumanskaya metro station, the girls were filming a video when an unfamiliar man approached Karpova from behind. With the words “No fucking way, you’re such a whore,” he slapped the blogger on the buttocks. In response to Karpova’s indignation, the man behind the scenes said: “What are you going to do? Will you go to the police?" This moment was captured on video, which Karpova shared on social networks.

The blogger contacted the police on December 8. It soon became known that the suspect in the harassment had been found. The police promised the girl to question him without revealing any information about the man’s identity.

On December 11, Karpova and her friend were summoned to the inspector to go to court in a harassment case. The girls were sure that they were going to the trial as a victim and a witness.

At the police station, Karpova was asked to tell about herself in detail because of the resonance. According to her, almost all the materials in the case are dedicated to her - her personality, activity on social networks and how she ended up on the subway platform. “There were only four lines out of two sheets about the fact of harassment,” writes “Caution, News,” according to the blogger. As a result, she was photographed and given a folder with documents to review the case. They said that Karpova “disturbed passengers and danced actively,” and metro employees allegedly made comments to her and demanded that she stop filming.

“The video shows me standing in one place. And this dude comes out and purposefully walks towards me, and I move away to let him through. I read and say: "What is this? This is not true." They tell me: “A case has been opened against you, now you will go to court,” she told Beware of the News. It turned out that the person suspected of harassment filed a counter-claim against Karpova, claiming that she was obstructing the passage of metro passengers.

On the same day, the blogger and her friend Eva Kobytova were taken to court, which imposed a fine on them for violating transport security requirements (Part 3 of Article 11.15.1 of the Administrative Code). Karpova was fined 25 thousand rubles, Kobytova 20 thousand rubles. The blogger did not admit guilt.

According to Karpova, she was forbidden to use the telephone, and for some time she did not have the opportunity to drink water because she was not released from the police and the court. At the court hearing, Karpova stated that she did not agree with the way the case was described, pointed out numerous mistakes, burst into tears and asked: “Why was I groped, and am I to blame?”

Karpova claims that the metro employees did not warn or ask her about anything. “It says that we were warned to move away from the train, but none of this happened. The most interesting thing is that there is a video attached, which shows that we are standing on the very edge, there are no people near us, we did not bother anyone,” she noted.

The court is scheduled to consider the case of the harassment suspect next week. However, the blogger doubts that the man will be brought to justice at all.

Her friend Eva Kobytova, in turn, said: “It’s unpleasant for me to realize that we came to ask for help from the law. But in the end it turned out that we were to blame for something.” Karpova said that government officials said “that it was all because I posted this video and it went viral, we put everyone on edge.” “But this is very strange, because under my video everyone supported the police,” added Karpova. She intends to appeal the court's decision.

Ksenia Karpova has about 300 thousand subscribers on Instagram and more than five million subscribers on TikTok . Judging by her social networks, the blogger is engaged in acting, singing and hosts her own show on YouTube. From the very beginning of the story, some social network users, according to the blogger, accused her of being staged in the harassment video. Karpova also said that her accounts on social networks and the video with the harassment of a passer-by were attacked, and they began to write insults to her.
